COMMON QUESTIONS
Questions Patients Ask Most
Do I need an appointment?
No. We are a walk-in emergency room, so there is no appointment to make. You can call the front desk with questions or check in online before you arrive.
Who will see me?
A board-certified emergency physician, on site 24 hours a day. The physician performs a medical screening, talks through your health history, and recommends treatment options.
Do you treat children?
Yes. We treat patients of all ages, including infants and children, and we have a patient room set aside for pediatric patients.
What if I need to go to a hospital?
Our staff arranges ambulance transport to the hospital of your choice and coordinates with the receiving hospital so they are ready for you.
How does billing work?
We bill your insurance company’s emergency room benefits as an out-of-network provider for all health plans. We are unable to accept Medicare, Medicaid, CHIP, or TRICARE at this time, and we also accept workers’ compensation and auto insurance for motor vehicle accidents. A facility fee may apply, and the physician may bill separately. See our billing information.
What if I don’t have insurance?
We offer a self-pay option. An initial payment is due on arrival, and the remaining balance is billed to you later. Our Patient FAQs explain how it works.
Not Sure It’s an Emergency?
Call (281) 560-4373 and describe what is happening, or walk in any time. If the problem could be life-threatening, call 911 instead of driving.
You can also check in online before you arrive.
